First weeks home, first Family Home Evening, first bath and other firsts. :)

It's so exciting for us that everything we do with Lydia almost is the first time she has experienced it. First time in her swing, first time looking at the sky, first time riding in a car, etc. Though she won't remember these firsts, it's nice we can document them and take tons of pictures. :)

Monday night we had our first Family Home Evening with Lydia. :) We went to the Provo Temple and went on a walk around the grounds. We explained to her that this is God's house, a holy place. We will be a family forever, even after this life because of Jesus Christ and the promises we made with Him in the Temple when we were married. We also showed her the bench where we sat on my birthday in 2012 when we first said, "I love you," to each other. :)

Monday the 25th was the first time Lydia ever had a bath! Well, a bath at our home. I am SOOO glad that Mitch worked as a CNA in a hospital in Bountiful before we got married. I seriously thought that with all of my experience with babies, changing and bathing and such that I would be an expert...but apparently I don't remember as much as I thought! Mitch worked on two floors of the hospital, the floor for the elderly where he cared for them and on the newborn floor. He said it is SO much easier to change and bathe babies! He's really good at it too and has helped me learn a lot!
Lydia, all snuggly in her robe after bath time. :)

Lydia LOVES bath time! I was surprised, I feel like kids usually don't like it very much, but Mitch is really good at helping her to stay warm and keeping the soap and water out of her eyes! Her umbilical cord is also taking it's time falling out, so I am really glad that Mitch is good at not getting that wet either. She loves her cute little bath robe, thanks Ashley Blake Hatch for buying it! :)

Lydia also LOVES the crib I made her!!! How do I know? After I change her diaper and need to wash my hands, I put her inside and she looks around and is happy to be there! She doesn't sleep there yet, and she looks SOOO tiny inside of it, but I think it's a winner! :)

Lydia loving her crib! Success! :D

Our first trip to the BYU library. We didn't study anything :) but it was a nice walk.

Here are some other incredibly cute pictures that I just had to add. I think when she yawns or opens her mouth it's the cutest thing in the world!

Can you say that again? ;)
