Simply Steeds

I can't believe that 2 months have already passed since our little Lydia joined us! She is SOOOO sweet! She loves being swaddled, grabbing my hair, :) looking around the room, taking naps in her little purple swing, and is absolutely TERRIFIED by the sound of my sneezes. Seriously, I sneeze once and she will start to wail! Poor dear! On the other hand, we can accidentally drop a loud dish in the kitchen and it doesn't even phase her! :) If she is fussy, all we have to do is lay her on the changing table and she is as happy as can be! She loves being changed and clean! She wore her new dress to church for the first time this week! :D It only cost $5.00 on Amazon.com! :D I love great deals and she will grow out of it so fast anyway! I also got this Fuschia dress for her on Amazon too that she wore last Sunday and we matched! I love this picture of her because it looks like she's picking something off of her dress. :)  Here are some super cute pictures of her! ...

No seu email passado você disse que está passando por muitas provações na sua missão. É tão interessante que quando eu começei com minha missão, eu achei que sempre seria maravilhosa, e quando eu tinha problemas, não seriam muito difícies. Mas NOSSA!! A missão é MUITO difícil! As veses você se sente muito sozinha, muito cansada, muito triste, com saudades de casa, e muito mais. Mas ao mesmo tempo, você tem a alegria de servir O Senhor com todo seu coração, mete, e força. São dois opostos extremos. Quando eu estava no CTM no Brasil, meu professor, Irmão Diníz disse que uma missão é como um grande, belo campo de rosas. Quando você estã chegando perto da sua missão, parece ser tão linda--todas as rosas, a beleza e você só consegue ver o que seja bom. E quando você entra o belo campo de rosas, nossa, como é lindo, cheir...

Lydia received her baby blessing on Sunday, July 5th! It was so wonderful to listen as Mitch gave it to her and to see family on the Steed and Harper side who came for it! Poor Lydia, she was hungry as church started and I took her to the mother's lounge to feed her but soon it was time for her blessing so we had to cut the feeding short, which she wasn't happy about! Once her blessing was over though, we went right back for her to finish. :) We had lunch at a park by the Provo Temple and we took some pictures! The lens on our iPhone camera was a little fuzzy, so it makes it look like Lydia is glowing in her pictures. She seriously looks like a little angel! (Which she is!) :) It was a wonderful day.
