Happy 2016!!! 2015 was wonderful! We welcomed our new baby Lydia to the world! I finished my 3rd GREAT year of teaching! Mitch got a job offer for post-graduation from Microsoft! Many other blessings came our way for which we are truly thankful to the Lord. And seriously, just when I think ...
It's so exciting the closer it gets to Christmas, there are so many "firsts" for Lydia. This was her first time playing in the snow! Ahhh, the taste of freshly-fallen snow! It was Lydia's first time seeing Christmas lights when Mitch put them up on our deck. She loves looking at them! :) We found a little Christmas elf in our box as we put up our tree! Lydia loves the texture of the branches and all the sparkling ornaments! Also, when she gets excited, she flaps her arms and legs around so fast, it's hard to keep holding her! She is one happy baby! She helped hang ornaments on the tree, including her baby ornament we used last year to announce our pregnancy. We love hanging our favorite ornaments each year--Mitch's Karl Malone and my glass flamingo! Merry almost Christmas from the Steeds! He played it for Lydia while I got her food ready. :D And here is the video of her first meal: zucchini!!! And here is the strawberry dessert! That's not all she eats in her high chair (thank you Grandpa and Grandma Steed for the high chair! we love it!) Lydia also eats spatulas and whisks with the occasional snack of watermelon juice: We just love having her sit at the family dinner table while we eat meals, and...
